A Free Unticketed Event @ The Jones House

The Town of Boone presents "Summer Concerts at the Jones House". The Todd Wright All-Stars will perform a set of jazz on Friday, June 10th at 5:30 p.m. The group will feature Todd Wright on saxophone, Rick Simerly on trombone, Steve Davidowski on piano, Andy Page on guitar, Adam Booker on bass and Rick Dilling on drums.

Entrance Requirements: Summer Concerts at the Jones House are free and open to all. Performances are held rain or shine. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to enjoy the music from the Jones House lawn. Alcoholic beverages are permitted on the Jones House property if patrons are of legal age and bring their own beverages. No open containers are allowed beyond the Jones House property. Friendly pets are permitted on leash. Parking is free in downtown Boone after 5 p.m.

ABOUT THE HIGH COUNTRY JAZZ FESTIVAL

The inaugural 2022 High Country Jazz Festival is a collaborative project to host exceptional and engaging jazz experiences in Boone and Blowing Rock that will attract regional audiences while raising funds to support the arts and education programs of the Appalachian Theatre, App State Jazz Studies Program and Boone Sunrise Rotary that sustain and enrich our High Country home. 

Anchor events will take place in the newly reopened Appalachian Theatre and under the tent at the Chetola Resort and will include a host of affiliated jazz experiences featuring outdoor concerts, late night jams, jazz lunches and film produced by great community partners in Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina that include the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum, Casa Rustica, High Country Jazz Society, Jones House, Lost Province, and Ransom Pub.
