getting here
From Points East: Follow US 421 North to Boone, NC, joining West King Street as you enter Downtown Boone. The Appalachian Theatre is just west of the traffic light at Appalachian Street and West King Street and located on your left.
From Points West: Follow either US 321 or US 421 South to their junction in Vilas, NC, then follow this route east into Downtown Boone. The Appalachian Theatre is just east of the traffic light at Depot Street and West King Street and located on your right.
From Points South: Follow US 321 North or US 221 North to Blowing Rock, NC, then head north on US 321 toward Boone. At the large intersection of US 321 and US 421 (coming in from your right), turn left onto US 321/US 421/West King Street. Follow West King Street to the west approximately 0.4 miles. The Appalachian Theatre is just west of the traffic light at Appalachian Street and West King Street and located on your left.
From Points North: HA! That's funny. There really isn't a good way directly into Boone from the north because there's a giant mountain in the way, so we recommend that you find your way to either US 321 or US 421, then follow the directions above, depending on whether you are approaching Boone from the west or the east. The interactive map at the top of the page might help you.
